​If your home has a high ceiling like these spaces shown you just might have hidden equity waiting to be redeemed. Converting a vaulted or high volume ceiling is the most efficient kind of room addition available.

It takes a specialist to make this come out properly. Don't destroy your home and its' value by using inexperienced and general practice contractors. This is what we call, "an inside job". Ha ha, yes, we like to joke, but this is really no laughing. Over the past two decades we've seen people ruin the value of their home by using general contractors or no contractor at all. Even being a licensed general contractor with a lot of experience does not qualify for converting an inside retrofitted room addition.

Each home is a little different even if we are converting the same model for your neighbor. The reason is because everyone adds their own touches or room features. Someone may want a bedroom addition with a full bathroom. Your neighbor may want an open loft with an enclosed office and glass doors.

You can get a quote even without having us come into your home. An online meeting with you giving us a tour of your home usually yields an official quote. We know our business that well. Many people across the state of California, get an online quote, sign up and our team comes to scan your home and begin working on the design plans for the plan check and permitting process.

San Diego County Room Addition - Encinitas, California

A new loft addition in the high ceiling over the living room in this Encinitas home will become a new open home office.

The ceiling in this model is part high volume and part vaulted, making it rather challenging to try to capture all the space. Watch the end result. We plan on putting storage cabinets near the new second floor line. The usable space may seem small, but this qualifies as a new square footage and designated room.
